Activity 1. You will need to click on the link to access your video that will offer you the opportunity to revise and engage with living and non-living things.
Activity 2. You will form groups of 4 to discuss what you know, what you want to know and record this in a KWL Chart provided in the link, about living and non-living things. You will leave the last column free as this will be filled out later. Activity 3. Using the information in your KWL Chart go on to complete your own VENN diagram on the differences and similarities of living and non-living things you may work collaboratively with fellow class mates to fill-in the blanks. Activity 4. In pairs plan an investigation within the school grounds it will need to record the difference between living and non-living in your observations and also show some characteristics of living things. You may choose to record your investigation in your books or on the worksheet provided. You will then explain what you have learnt to another group. Activity 5. You will know go back to the last column of your KWL Chart and fill in the last column and present your KWL chart to the class. |
